Just a reminder that the deadline for IASD/DSF Research Grant Letters of Intent is 15 October 2012 – still some time but yet only 2 months for those wishing to organize and prepare research proposals. If you wish to submit a letter of intent the link is listed below.  If you think that any of your colleagues or students might be interested please send this note on to them.  Go to http://dreamscience.org/iasd/2012call.htm  for submission instructions. 

Call for 2012 Research Grant Proposals

Submission Areas • High quality quantitative and qualitative research proposal Letters of Intent are invited in areas related to dreams and dreaming, including but not limited to: the neuroscience of dreaming, psychological studies of dreaming and such fields as anthropology and cultural studies.

Submission Deadline • 15 October 2012 for your letter of intent, a summary of your intended research effort. Submissions are reviewed by a research board and those selected as candidates for a grant award will be invited to submit a final proposal within 30 days of notice. Awards are typically made in the December to January timeframe.
Submission Deadline • Go to http://www.dreamscience.org/iasd or to the IASD web site: www.asdreams.org and select the “DreamScience Grant” link, for instructions and a submissions outline. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED (e-mail) to bob@dreamscience.org . You may also contact him with any questions you may have concerning the submission process. All communications will only be via e-mail so make sure your e-mail address is correct in all documentation.

Grant Donations • All funds for research grants come from private donations from DSF matched with a combination of IASD funds and individual donations provided to the IASD research grant fund. Our ability to advance dream research is therefore limited by the funds we receive. You can help advance dream research. Click the “Help Make a Difference” box on the dreamscience.org site. Don’t forget to mark the Research Grant Fund button at the bottom of the form.
